Join us as we kick-off a season of work protecting the plants and animals of Veteran's Park! We'll be learning about eco-friendly gardening tips, tree care, wetlands, and local animals with expert instruction and hands-on demonstrations. Meet neighbors under the shade of Vet’s beautiful trees, enjoy snacks and drinks, learn about 5 invasive weeds, talk to local experts, and help volunteers with weeding in the park!
Bring your own loppers, pruners, and shovels if you can. Wear boots, long socks, pants, and long sleeves.
