ROUTE MARSHALLS
This year is the 76th annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade and we are looking for about 25 more jolly elves to help line the parade route on December 4th. The parade kicks off on Mathis Avenue and ends at Center and Peabody. Route Marshals report to Old Towne Sports Pub located at 8971 Center Street, Manassas, VA at 8:30am for breakfast and assignment. You will be given a festive 75th annual GMCP hat and a safety vest to wear. Route Marshals stand along the parade route as a buffer between the participants and the spectators and help to keep the parade moving along and the spectators safe. Route Marshals are on duty until the parade is over (or at least Santa has passed your position).
STAGING MARSHALLS
We are looking for about ten more Staging Marshalls to help line participants up before the parade. Staging Marshalls report to the Salisbury Center located on Mathis Avenue, Manassas, VA at 7am for breakfast and assignment. Staging Marshals help organize the participants at the beginning of the parade. Participants are stationed together by categories and are disbursed in numeric order. Staging Marshals start earlier and are generally done with their duties as soon as their group has all been disbursed.
