Board Members Welcome!
Are you an animal lover? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of thousands of animals every year? Now is the perfect time to take on a leadership role and have your voice heard through our work. Come join our Board as we embark on this exciting time for animals in Prince Wiliam County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park, VA. We're looking for several people to join our board and help us continue our efforts to improve the lives of companion animals. Must be 18 years of age or older.
We are a working board, which means all board members are expected to take an active role in meetings, programs, and governance. We are an all-volunteer group that relies heavily on the board for guidance and leadership.
Board Members should be:
- Animal Friendly
- Willing to take on specific roles
- Dedicated to the organization (attend board meetings, provide leadership)
- Have a passion and be willing to share your time and energy
- Prior board or animal- related experience is optional but preferred
- Ready to serve a one-year term
