In order to receive tax-exemption for a nonprofit organization businesses require the organization to complete an application process.
The volunteer will call or email retail stores/restaurants/online stores, inquire about the tax-exemption application process, complete the application and submit our organization's 501(c)(3) IRS designation letter and procure the verification (card/number/letter) from the business and deliver to our organization.
