Want to volunteer but not sure how to get started? Our Preparedness Events are a great way to get involved!
At one event or several, team members join other Red Cross and community volunteers for breakfast, orientation and training, and then canvas in neighborhoods across the region to educate families on how to prevent home fires and build a fire response plan, and test existing smoke detectors and/or install new ones. No training necessary!
Families are welcome and can work together!
Breakfast served!
Wrap up by noon!
