We have four volunteer shifts available - please indicate the shift(s) that you would like to work above:
Festival Set-Up (Saturday, July 11th) - 7am-12pm
Early Shift (Saturday, July 11th) - 11:30am-4:30pm
Late Shift (Saturday, July 11th) - 4pm-9pm
Post Festival Tear Down (Saturday, July 11th) - 5pm-10pm
With your volunteer experience you will receive a free volunteer t-shirt and a complimentary meal.
All volunteers will be required to attend a Mandatory Volunteer Training Session at 7 pm on Friday, July 10th located at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas located at 10624 Dumfries Road, Manassas, VA 20112.

Volunteer Areas:
Vendor Area - Vendor Area volunteers are an essential cog in the inner workings of the festival by assisting the organizers with a whole range of duties that will ensure the smooth running of the festival. Main tasks may include:
- Ticket and wristband control
- Parking Lot attending
- Access point guard
- Human signpost for the festival goers
- Customer information
- Assisting with beverage sales and distribution
- Runners
Skills and Personal Qualities Required: Volunteers will need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to performing the required tasks. They will also need to be physically fit, able to lift at least 45 lbs and able to be on their feet while on duty.
Security- Security volunteers are an essential to keeping our attendees, volunteers, vendors, sponsors and staff safe at the festival by assisting the organizers with a whole range of duties that will ensure the smooth running of the festival. Main tasks may include:
- Maintain safety and security throughout event site
- Maintain safety and security around stage and backstage areas
- Maintain safety and security around merchandising areas
- Maintain safety and security around vendor areas
- Provide security for all artists/speakers as needed
- Provide conflict resolution on-site and/or direct to appropriate authorities
Skills and Personal Qualities Required: Volunteers will need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to performing the required tasks. They will also need to be physically fit, able to lift at least 45 lbs, able to be on their feet while on duty as well as maintain their composure during difficult situations.
Stage - Stage volunteers are an essential to keeping our stage activity running smoothly at the festival. Main tasks may include:
- help off load and set up stage and equipment
- help breakdown stage and equipment
- escort entertainers and assist them with loading and unloading equipment
- round up all artists/speakers & keep them in order of appearance on stage
- replenish water and towels, as needed
- load and unload artist/speaker equipment, as needed
Skills and Personal Qualities Required: Volunteers will need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and committed to performing the required tasks. They will also need to be physically fit, able to lift at least 50 lbs and able to be on their feet while on duty.
Parking - Volunteers are an essential to providing our attendees with top-rate customer service as they enter the festival. Main tasks may include:
- transport people and/or supplies on the event grounds
- assist with traffic control in parking areas
- mark and direct VIP parking area
- mark and direct event handicap parking
Skills and Personal Qualities Required: Volunteers will need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and have positive attitude while performing the required tasks. They will also need to be physically fit and able to be on their feet while on duty.
