Join staff and volunteers at Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre to help us clean-up and beautify our pollinator garden on-site for the summer. A pollinator garden is a specialized, sunny landscape feature designed to support bees, butterflies, and birds by planting native, nectar-rich flowers that bloom sequentially throughout the growing season. No experience or knowledge needed. Wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt. Bring work gloves and a hat that can get dirty. If you have a favorite clipper, pruner or sturdy rake, bring it. Meet in the parking lot of Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre at 12229 Bristow Road, Bristow, VA. Please no pets. This is a good opportunity for scout and student volunteer hours. If you have questions or need accommodations related to disability, please contact Paige Gibbons Backus at pgibbonsbackus@pwcgov.org.
