Description

Community Town Hall
Help Protect the Health of the Occoquan Reservoir
Thursday, June 2. Doors open at 6:30 pm, program begins at 7:00 pm
Jenkins Elementary School (4060 Prince William Parkway, Woodbridge, 22192)

Data center blight and dense residential sprawl into the Rural Crescent would bring long-lasting impacts to Prince William residents. From the Outer Beltway to the Occoquan Reservoir, and from Prince William Forest Park to Manassas National Battlefield, proposed land-use changes threaten our public drinking water supply and quality of life.
Speakers include: Kim Hosen, PWCA; Deshundra Jefferson, community activist; Bill McDow, Belmont HOA; Julie Bolthouse, Piedmont Environmental Council; Kyle Hart, National Parks Conservation Association; Elizabeth Ward, Green Risks; and Frank Washington, Coalition to Protect Thoroughfare.

Join us to learn more about how sprawl development in the Rural Crescent would affect us in the east, and what we can do to protect what we have and build a sustainable, socially just future.

Register here or at the event. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
