Runners, walker and volunteers wanted for WestRash Charities Warrior Angels 8K and 1 Mile Fun Run event. This year’s Warrior Angels 8K event will bring together runners and walkers to raise money for Pediatric Cancer Research, Make It Better MISSIONS (experiences, entertainment and comfort items for kids currently in treatment), and support services for pediatric cancer families.
8K participants will receive race BIBs and state of the art timing devices. The top 3 finishers in each of the following age groups will be awarded, as well as the top 3 male and female overall finishers.
The course is a 8K scenic route around Burke Lake on crushed gravel and partially paved trails. BIBS and timing devices will be handed out prior to race at Picnic Shelter A.
