It's Fun to Help Bluebirds!
The Bluebird Trail at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management area needs volunteer monitors from April to mid-August. A training session will be held on Saturday April 15 from 10 - 11. Bluebirds are a dramatic environmental success story.
Thanks to the many people who install and tend nesting boxes Nationwide, Bluebird populations are growing. You can help and have a great time too!
Responsibilities include working with other volunteers to check the nesting boxes each week and record information about what's happening at each box. We hope you can help with this important project.
