Every March, we celebrate Red Cross Month by recognizing the incredible efforts of volunteers and donors who make the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross possible. From disaster relief to blood donations, their unwavering dedication transforms lives in times of need. Our Red Cross Month celebration has been an annual tradition since 1943, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued the first Red Cross Month proclamation.
