Greetings Prince William! We're excited to be involved in several upcoming events and hope you're able to attend and connect with all of us at Volunteer Prince William! On September 12th you can find us at the Prince William County Annual Community Fair in Woodbridge and on September 26th at the City of Manassas Emergency Preparedness Event at the Farmers' Market on Prince William Street. On October 10th, we'll be at Hispanic Heritage Friends & Family Day in Woodbridge. Stop by our booth to say hello, learn more about what we do, and ask questions.
We are absolutely thrilled and honored to be nominated for the Prince William Living 2026 Giving Back Award! For 45 years, Volunteer Prince William has been connecting people who want to make a difference with those who need a helping hand. From providing rides for veterans, responding when our community faces emergencies, and helping seniors during winter storms, to making the holidays brighter for local children and families through UnTrim-A-Tree, our volunteers show up when our community needs them most.
For us, this nomination is about more than an organization - it's about the incredible people in our community who give their time, talents, resources, and hearts to make a difference. Every ride, every gift, every cleared driveway, every act of kindness adds up to something powerful.
We are so grateful to Prince William Living for recognizing the impact of Volunteer Prince William and for shining a light on the many people who help turn generosity into meaningful action.
Thank you to our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters for being the heart of what we do. This recognition belongs to all of you! Please join us in celebrating this incredible nomination!

Be a voice and advocate for a child in need today! Join the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), in representing the best interest of a child in crisis. Do you love being outdoors and gardening? The Prince William Conservation Alliance needs your help at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area to tend to their native pollinator garden - a living habitat that supports bees, butterflies, birds, and the wildlife that rely on healthy native plants. Your stewardship helps this space flourish through the growing season, and every session strengthens the ecosystem around it. They have weekend (typically Saturday) volunteer needs in August and September from 8am until 11am. Volunteers are welcome to arrive late or leave early. Interested in joining? The volunteers over at Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P) believe in making that happen for as many pets as possible! The Humane Society's primary goal is to advocate for every pet and help connect them with the right adopter.
