

Who We Are
Parent Education – Provides educational programs to equip parents to raise and nurture children and strengthen family relationships. Classes are offered to parents of young children, school age children, and teens. In addition we offer a class on understanding anger in the family and another program for parents who have a youth at risk of court involvement. What We Do
Prince William Cooperative Extension offers Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) groups. These parenting classes are seven-week discussion group for parents and others who want to learn more effective ways to communicate and discipline. It is offered for three separate age groups: Parents of Young Children (birth to age five), Parents of School-Age Children (ages six to twelve), and Parents of Teenagers. Classes are also offered in Spanish. Classes available in Woodbridge and Manassas.
