Who We Are

Saved Hands Foundation is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preparing individuals across the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) with marketable office skills and other supportive services that contribute toward their economic stability. 

 Led by experienced professionals, the Foundation also offers wrap-around services for people who want to increase their professional marketability through hands-on workforce readiness training and counseling services.  

 Each participant receives individualized help based on the tools and resources they need to realize their professional goals and personal growth. 

 Saved Hands Foundation offers additional services to the community such as:

 Assistance with the Federal Government application process to include resume analysis and submission into the government database.

Preparation of professional resumes; cover letters and transmit documents to potential employers.

 Counseling for one year to assist the newly hired employee to insure their economic goals have been met.

 Our endeavor is to reach out to every household in Prince William County and beyond with career development opportunities.  We need your help!  We would like to reach individuals on TANF and other public programs to make a difference in their lives.

 our resume writing service is expected to increase and will continue to be available to the community at a minimal cost.  We are seeking dedicated volunteers to continue to offer the Administrative Assistant Career Development Program to many more families that need our service and are unable to pay. 

 

What We Do

Saved Hands Foundation provides community based entry level office skill training to individuals with little or no income.     

As a nonprofit Corporation, we offer resume writing seminars that educate and prepare the individual to become marketable to potential employers.  We also offer our services to those who want to enhance their current employment status by staying abreast of changing technology. 

The driving force of Saved Hands Foundation is The Administrative Assistant Career Development Program which focuses on office skill training.  The goal of the program is to enroll individuals in nontraditional training to learn the skills they need to become employed. 

Office professionals are required to keep abreast of the latest technological advances in order to maintain marketable skills.  Secretaries and Administrative Assistants are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to manage a company efficiently. 

In our effort to assist families achieve economic empowerment with employment opportunities, we are dedicated to training individuals for jobs; assist with the employment process and connect the individual with various community resources to achieve their goals.
