Who We Are
What We Do
Neighborhood Health, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, is a fully accessible community health center providing a medical home for low-income and underinsured children and adults and for anyone in need of primary medical, behavioral and dental health care.
We have been setting the standard of excellence in primary healthcare in Northern Virginia for over 18 years. Our philosophy of being innovative and compassionate in the delivery of health services guides our organization.
Neighborhood Health received several National Quality Awards in 2014 and most recently in 2015 from the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for the quality of our patients' clinical outcomes and preventive care, including outcomes in diabetes and blood pressure control, immunization rates, and breast, ovarian and colon cancer screenings, among other clinical outcomes.
We have nine clinical sites offering increased access to care for families– five sites in the City of Alexandria, two in Arlington County, and two in Fairfax County. More than 15,000 individuals currently receive services, including 4,500 children, and more than 42,000 health visits were held in FY 2015.
