Manassas Volunteer Fire Company

The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC) has been faithfully serving the City of Manassas and the surrounding areas of Prince William County, Virginia since 1892. As this was the first Fire Company in the county it was designated Company 1. Auxiliary Applicant Information - Must be at least 14 years of age or older to join. - Complete an application and return it to the firehouse - Monthly Company meetings are held on the last Tuesday of EVERY month (7pm). Interested applicants are encouraged to attend. - Monthly Auxiliary meetings are held on the second Monday of EVERY month (6:30pm). Benefits - Joining a family with a long tradition of dedication to serving the community - The satisfaction of providing service to the community and the Fire Company - Paid Personal Property Tax within Prince William County and the City of Manassas with minimum annual service hours (see a member) - Contributing your skills and passions to the community Duties of the Auxiliary - Bingo/Kitchen Shifts: Auxiliary members are encouraged to support Bingo events. Bingo is held every Saturday night and shifts vary depending on the support being provided. Bingo/Kitchen shifts are on an every four week schedule - Special Event Shifts: Auxiliary members are encouraged to support Fire Company events as much as possible. These events allow the Company to interact with the community in which we serve and financially support the firehouse - Additional support: Grant Writers, Human Resource leads, and many other opportunities are available and desired.
