House of Mercy

House of Mercy is a Catholic 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to create environments where God’s mercy flourishes by meeting basic needs and supporting personal and spiritual growth. Founded in 2005 by a Catholic priest, we serve some of the most underserved populations by feeding, clothing, and praying for anyone who comes through our doors. Through our Thrift Store, Donation Center, and Food Pantry, we offer free food and clothing with no restrictions on geography or background — always with a focus on preserving dignity and serving the whole person.

In addition to providing free food, HOM offers our registered clients in-store credit for clothing from our thrift store, which, like our food pantry, relies on donations to operate. Proceeds from the thrift store are used to help purchase food staples for our clients to supplement donations or when donations fall short.

We have a gorgeous thrift store open to everyone, filled to the brim with beautiful clothes, shoes and home goods. Come on in!

Proceeds also help fund community programs that HOM offers at no charge, designed to help area residents improve their quality of life
