The IT inter will assist the HIT/EHR Administrator in basic IT tasks such as: changing keyboards and hard drives, reload software and other general laptop repairs. Training in these tasks will not be provided.

Volunteer will gain valuable experience navigating eClinicalWorks (eCW) and training on HIPAA policies (Patient Privacy). Responsibilities will be working with eCW to monitor patient HIPAA compliance, reporting on the status of patients, and following up with staff members on findings. This position will be under the supervision of the Community HealthCorps Members and located at Neighborhood Health 6677 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305. Time requirement can be between 2-10 hour a week depending on volunteer availability and clinic needs.
