Over 150,000 adults in Northern Virginia have limited English proficiency. Come to a volunteer orientation conducted by the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia to learn how you can help: Saturday, January 5th from 10am-11:30am at the Sully Government Center in Chantilly.
With a large team of volunteers who serve as teachers, class aides, and tutors, LCNV is able to teach English to thousands of adults every year. Prior teaching experience is not required for volunteers to get involved -- training, curriculum and support will be provided!
