Prince William County Office of Youth Services is seeking dedicated volunteers for the Right Step to Opportunities program — a diversion initiative designed to help youthful offenders avoid the juvenile justice system and build a brighter future.
As a Right Step Volunteer, you will:
- Participate in Community Conference hearings with youth and their parent(s)
- Help determine appropriate sanctions and positive opportunities
- Support youth in making better choices
Requirements:
- Complete training sessions on Right Step and best practices for conducting community conference hearings
- Commit to at least six hearings per year
