Greetings – Educate America, Inc. (EAI), a nonprofit startup, is recruiting Prince William County teenagers ages 15 and older to serve as volunteers for its after-school tutoring & mentoring program, and planned summer STEAM program. All student volunteers must be 15 years of age or older and have parental permission and at least one (1) teacher recommendation.
This Volunteer Opportunity is scheduled to occur on Mondays and Wednesdays commencing on October 16, 2024, to December 11, 2024 (Fall 2024), and from February 19, 2025, to April 9, 2025 (Spring 2025)—except for federal holidays, teacher workdays or emergency school closures. Please see the PWCS 2024-25 Student Calendar for details. Please Note: No afterschool program activities will occur during the month of January 2025 to allow for a one-month administrative break after the Fall semester ending on December 11, 2024.
