On the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, Americans of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join and lead community service projects to honor the lives and service of those we lost on September 11. Cross divides, differences, and ideologies to serve with neighbors and strangers alike to build important bridges in your communities.
At Leopold's Preserve, we'll be working to stain the fences around our parking area, along with other conservation projects. Drop in at 1:00 PM and stay as long as you'd like. Please "dress for a mess" as we will be working with wood stain, which can discolor fabric.
PLEASE NOTE this activity will take place on Sunday, September 10. We will not be hosting volunteers on Monday, September 11.
