Adult volunteers are needed to tutor our adult learners to help them improve their English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Previous teaching experience is not required. We provide 10 hours of professional-level training over two Saturdays. Once trained you will be matched to our adult students in either a classroom or with an individual student. Our program offers ESL, GED, citizenship, workforce literacy, computer literacy, and more. Volunteer tutors are asked to commit to one class per week (two hours per class) for a period of at least six months.
