Volunteer: Volunteers for Weekly Community Meal & Unsheletered Homeless OutreachMH&HO Ministries, Inc. is a religious non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide a weekly Sunday afternoon community meal and unsheltered homeless outreach. Individuals or civic or religious organizations are welcome to participate and volunteer. We provide a Christian based message of hope in collaboration with local Christian Churches followed by a community meal that is open to the area's low income and unsheltered homeless. We gather for setup on Sunday's at 12:30PM, the message and prayer is shared at 12:45PM and we feed a donated meal at 1PM. Our services and programs include: Anti-Hunger, Homeless Prevention, ID Replacement, Laundry & Phone Card assistance, Prescription Drug assistance as well as Referrals for Housing, Substance and Mental Health assistance. We distribute donated personal hygiene and basic-needs items at our weekly events.
