Join us for a conversation with Wildlife Information Biologist, Susan Watson from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources about Virginia's Salamanders.
Salamanders are more than lizard-look-alike amphibians. These limb regenerating creatures are most diverse in the Northern Hemisphere with some of the highest concentrations in our own backyard - the Appalachian Mountain region.
We'll discuss their high diversity and important ecological roles in the region as well as why their conservation matters and how to find them in your own yard.
