WALK TO STOP DIABETES!! This year marks the event's 23rd year, so help us celebrate Step Out's 23rd Birthday. We have changed our location to Fairfax Corner. We need your reliable volunteer assistance to support the expected 1,300 participants to make it a great event! Step Out is a family friendly, fun walk event, as well as the ADA's signature fund-raising event. All walkers are raising money to stop diabetes and fund diabetes research, information and advocacy.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from, including set- up, walker check-in, registration, greeting, and cheering. We look forward to working with dedicated individuals with a passion for community service, with a willingness and desire to STOP diabetes, a global issue that currently affects over 26.1 million Americans!
