The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia will host an open orientation event on Saturday, October 14th, 2017, to inform prospective volunteers and supporters about available opportunities. LCNV recruits and trains volunteer teachers, class aides, tutors, and testers. These volunteers work with adult learners who need help with reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. LCNV also seeks committed office volunteers to assist with logistics, outreach, and data entry.
