Naturalization Workshop - Pro Bono Opportunity to Help Eligible Immigrants Apply for Citizenship

Hogar Immigrant Services is seeking attorneys with an active license to donate a few pro bono hours to helping eligible immigrants apply for citizenship. 

Naturalization Workshops are held one Saturday per month at locations around Northern Virginia.  All NEW attorney volunteers must attend a training on the N-400 naturalization application and eligibility requirements.  Trainings are held the morning of the workshop at 9:00 am. 

After attending the training, attorney volunteers can choose from 2 volunteer assignments:

- Crime and eligbility screening 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (no conflict of interest for federally-employed attorneys)
- Legal review 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm (federally-employed attorneys may not participate)

We serve over 50 applicants at each workshop.  Strengthen your community by helping immigrants become citizens!
