Virginia Women and Family Support Center

Who We Are

Mission: The mission of Virginia Women and Family Support Center is to provide comprehensive long-term residential support for women who are pregnant and homeless in a loving and supportive environment.

Vision: We envision a community where families have safe, secure, and stable housing with sufficient resources and space to plan for the futures. We bridge the gap between local clinics, churches, and government agencies to positively impact the lives of women in crisis. VAWFSC is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. This includes relief to the poor and the distressed, and the advancement of religion and educational purposes under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The organization was formed in 2010 and was granted 501(c)(3) status in 2014.

Founded in 2016, we invest in housing vulnerable pregnant women and their children through our long-term residential program.
